The Seabird / Wildlife Observatory is well signposted from the village and is about a mile west of the Golf Club. Access - Open most mornings during peak times. Key Birds Summer - Golden Eagle, Peregrine Falcon, Storm Petrel, Twite. Autumn - Passage seabirds and waders. On shore gales often produce inshore movements of Leach's Petrel and other scarce seabirds inc. Balearic Shearwater, Sabine's Gull, Grey Phalarope. Winter - Great Northern Diver, Purple Sandpiper, Ruddy Turnstone with occasional Glaucous and Iceland Gull. Look for our flagpole on the point!!!
